Dear Captains and your Crew,

We made the decision to postpone the tournament as soon as we could, taking into account the significant weather change from last night to this morning. Our decision was based not only on the immediate severe weather but also its potential impact on the entire tournament. We carefully considered the potential damage to boats with wind gusts exceeding 50 miles per hour on Saturday. Additionally, we factored in the presence of submerged and floating debris in the Chesapeake Bay on Sunday following the opening of all flood gates at the Conowingo Dam due to the forecasted 3 inches of rainfall on Saturday. We want to emphasize that this was a challenging decision, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.
